And having feminist friends on Tumblr. Sorry facts win out over feels.
I am sure people have unfollowed me for this reason, or blocked me, or view everything I post with a jaundiced eye.
But I do know some of the feminists tolerate me and what I say and I hope they understand where I am coming from.
I actually had a friend become really angry with me because I was reblogging a bunch of feminist things that their friend was reblogging, and adding my own disagreeing comments. I actually wasn’t paying attention to who I was reblogging from. I didn’t mean to upset the person, as I think they’re pretty awesome but at the same time I don’t understand why they were upset. Disagreeing with someone doesn’t necessarily mean I hate them.
Oh I agree, and I’m certain there are things that we would disagree on. :)
That’s where I find the egalitarian/MRM/MRA/SJ’s use of statistics based on good research so important. I’m not disagreeing because I don’t like a person, I’m disagreeing because here are the numbers that demonstrate differently.
I actually like having good debates with people. The problem is that people get so stuck in their ideals that they are absolutely not willing to listen to views that oppose their own.

It actually IS necessary.
Those tea’s are for the different needs of women’s (respectively men’s) bodies. I’m not much of a tea-drinker but my sister drinks women’s tea when she has cramps and feels crappy in general from her menstruating.
But I actually have no idea what men could need a “men’s tea” for.
This is actually the first time I’ve seen something like this.
But I suspect it has a similar function, if you feel crappy, drink tea. Female and male bodies react differently to things they take in.
Men have monthly hormonal fluctuations too.
There are Man Teas to avoid problems in the future. Like prostata, or something.
But really, one day i will see on tumblr vitamins labeled as “unnecessarily gendered items”. ==’

7/11 breathing. A skill to use for anxiety. It’s recommended to do it for 10-15 minutes. Like any other skill it does require a lot of practice. I advice that you practice it when you are feeling calm so you are ready in a time of need. If you lose count, which is easily done, simply start again until you do 15 minutes. It will also help with distraction even if you don’t get it right the first hundred times.
Breathing out longer than you breathe in actually activates your parasympathetic nervous system!
Anxiety is your sympathetic nervous system (“fight or flight”) setting off all the alarms, while breathing like this will set the parasympathetic system (“rest and digest”) into action shutting off the alarms and settling your nerves.
Other things that help: laughing, checking out what’s going on around you (moving head and eyes to orient to your surroundings), getting curious about something.

This disturbs me for some reason.
Its disturbing because a child has become so obese they cant even make it to school. This is disgusting and the parents and the school should not be allowing this to be happening. That kid probably wont live past forty and needs some serious help. This is bullshit.
