Instead of protesting me not being a feminist, feel free to bring those sites down. They only have thousands of feminist followers who spread bullshit and misinformation.

I always make a difference between girl gamers and gamers who just happens to be female. The first one makes a huge deal about being a girl. They seem kind of fake and are often not very good at games and use their gender as a weapon. They also tend to whine. The second type is gamer first and they don't use their gender to provoke or to get goodies or to whine, they just want to play a game, everything else be damned. They also kick ass.

if a cashier gives me more change than I need I don't say anything. One time I went to walmart and paid with $100 bill for like a $50 purchase and the cashier gave me $75 back. To me it's their job and the corporations job to make sure they can give the right change back. That's probably really fucked up to you but eh.

No, but that’s actually a really fucking shitty thing to do to a cashier. Did you know that we can be fired if our drawers are short more than a certain amount? Beyond that, there are people who have legitimate issues with numbers and math (I have dyscalculia, for instance), and you’re basically being an ableist fuckwit by doing this to them. What if their register was down and they were having to do every transaction by hand? Have you ever had to keep track of that many numbers when numbers confuse you to no end? It’s fucking difficult, even when the registers aren’t crashing and we don’t have to do shit manually. I mean, fuck, even with a functioning register, I mix up numbers and have trouble with them.

So in short, fuck you for thinking that it’s okay to risk someone’s job because you can’t be assed to let someone know that you were overchanged. And by the way, that’s still theft, so congrats on being both an ableist AND a thieving douchetwat.

~Persephone

SOMETIMES PEOPLE ARE FUCKING HUMAN AND THEY MAKE A MISTAKE! DON’T BE AN ASSHOLE! And also have dyscalculia, and working register is a pain in the ass. For real.

Also, sometimes bills stick together and it feels like one bill.

you know how you say words so many times and they lose their meaning? that’s how I feel about the words “trauma” and “trigger” right now.

Putting this on the reg blog because it’s useful info

I would like to emphasize that line between asterisks in the definition because yes, no human being is supposed to live with a trauma and expecting to be triggered during all their life, they’re supposed to overcome it eventually with time and professional help. So while I understand that you don’t want to see things that trigger you on a website where you come to relax, and it’s okay to talk to people about it, you can’t spend your whole life expecting people to avoid triggering you, or expecting people to know what triggers you when you’ve never talked about it. Eventually, those things should lose that connection with the traumatic event, so you’ll be able to come in touch with those things without remembering the traumatic event or re-experiencing the horrible sensations associated with it.

U.S. Martin Luther King Jr being attacked as he marched nonviolently for the Chicago Freedom Movement, 1966, which was the most ambitious civil rights campaign in the North of the United States, and lasted from mid-1965 to early 1967.

If only he’d been well-spoken, pulled his pants up and didn’t wear a hoodie… oop… wait…

Please really look at this. Look at how many men are on him. Look at how you can see he is not attacking anyone. Look at how he is dressed. Imagine the fear he has that this moment may have been his last. Remember that he was assassinated by forces within the U.S. gov’t because of his mission. Before you pull that string on that MLK Jr. watered-down quote teddy, look at this, look at what’s happening today, and really fucking think.

"Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is protected by supporters after being hit with a stone during a housing march in what was then the all-white Marquette Park neighborhood on Chicago’s Southwest Side. King marched to protest housing segregation and inadequate housing for minorities. "I have seen many demonstrations in the South, but I have never seen anything so hostile and so hateful as I’ve seen here (in Marquette Park) today," King said. — Chicago Tribune historical photo, Aug. 5, 1966"

These men were PROTECTING Rev. King, not attacking him.
Someone outside the pic was the scumbag attacking him, jesus fucking asscrackers, tumblr.

OP is a fuckwit.

Things like this have me worried for our country’s future. How can we go forward honestly and with honor if we do not know history and do not present it in an honest light? It seems too many people are more worried about short-term political gains by inciting social tensions than worried about being honest and learning the valuable lessons our forefathers already paid for in blood for us.

Exactly. We should all be paying attention to the fact that people of all races supported Dr. King. But instead you’re all out here lying to be the victim.
